Event Details
There are a range of different challenges facing social services in the next years, when populations are expected to become older. There is an increasing need to address chronic diseases, morbidity, and long-term care. People with long-term care needs face additional barriers to find and retain employment and meaningfully participate in society. Whilst these challenges become increasingly important, public social services have been facing additional constraints due to the economic crisis. Therefore, the need for evidence-based decision-making is crucial.
