HENRIK ERIKSSON

Henrik Eriksson, Ph.D., is an expert in quality improvement and management. His research focuses on how one succeeds in improving and building excellent organisations. After working for many years as Head of Quality and Development in different care organisations, he returned to academia and is currently working as an Associate Professor at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.

His work and research has lately covered both social and health care, and he is currently working on putting light on how quality in welfare is achieved, and what can hinder quality improvement and excellence. Cases cover outstanding organisations, procurements of care and nonprofit-public partnerships on unaccompanied refugee children. The work is co-produced together with municipalities, regions and government, as well as with nonprofit organisations, research partners and private organisations.
