Since 1999, Prof Dr Sell has been Professor of Economics, Social Policy and Social Sciences at Hochschule Koblenz, University of Applied Sciences, Campus Remagen, Faculty of Business and Social Sciences Director, Institute for Social Policy and Labour Market Research (ISAM), Hochschule Koblenz, University of Applied Sciences. He is also a member of the Advisory Board, “Funding Initiative for Interdisciplinary Research in Social Policy” (FIS) of the “Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs” (BMAS); and the Scientific Advisory Board Demography for the Federal State of Rhineland-Palatinate. On 22 April 2016, he received the “Regine Hildebrandt Award 2016” for his commitment to social policy.
